Our 350,000 sq. ft. (and growing!) production plant and headquarters in Spring Grove, IL, is one of the nation's leading open die and rolled ring shops. This location is your go-to for forging manufacturing.

Core competencies

  • Open die hollows, rings, blanks, spindles and hubs
  • Seamless rolled rings up to 252"
  • Semi-closed die, complex forged shapes
  • Torch and custom cutting unusual shapes
  • Expertise in forming ferrous and non-ferrous materials
  • Ability to forge product up to 300,000 lbs.

Services and equipment

  • Saw cutting, heat treating, torch cutting and rough machining including turning, boring and milling
  • Five hydraulic open die presses –16,500 ton, 5,500 ton, 3,000 ton, 1,250 ton and 750 ton
  • Two ring mills – 450/250 ton Wagner automatic radial/axial and a 275 ton radial mill
  • Complete metallurgical laboratory and NDE (nondestructive evaluation)
